Weldfast UK Limited, a leading independent wholesaler of welding, cutting, safety equipment and associated products, has announced a series of leadership changes to support the next stage of its growth.
Rob Bastock has been appointed Managing Director, having previously served as Commercial Director where he played a key role in the company’s development. In his new role, Rob will lead Weldfast as it continues to strengthen its market position and scale the business for the future.
The business has also appointed Angela Rushforth as a Non-Executive Director, bringing significant strategic and commercial experience to support the leadership team as the business continues to evolve.
Steve Nixon, Founder of Weldfast, will step back from day-to-day operations but will remain actively involved in the business, supporting the leadership team and the long-term direction of the company.

Weldfast operates from its distribution centre in Newcastle-under-Lyme and supplies distributors across the UK and internationally. The company continues to work closely with its shareholders and Newable, to support its long-term growth and development plans.
