The Challenge

Traditionally, this type of application is often served by large gas manifold systems, which can represent a significant investment. The customer wanted a simpler, more economical alternative that could be implemented quickly without disrupting production.
The Solution
Drawing on our extensive technical expertise in gas control equipment, the Weldfast team worked closely with the customer to understand their requirements before designing a bespoke solution in partnership with one of our manufacturing specialists.
The result was a custom built, multi point gas distribution vessel that:
- Takes gas from a single cylinder source
- Distributes gas through a central pressure vessel
- Supplies multiple flowmeters from a single feed
- Allows each welder to independently regulate their own gas flow
This provides a simple and effective way to supply shielding gas to multiple workstations while maintaining individual user control.
